Does anyone know anything about Central Boilers New classic edge epa boilers. There web shows some Info but not a lot. The price point on these new units look enticing for a gasser.$6490 msrp for the 350 and $7990msrp for the 550

Impressive looking units and prices are somewhat reasonable.  If I ever need a smaller unit, perhaps it's something to look into.  Roger

I talked a bit with a local dealer yesterday on this new line of stoves. It seems as though they've cut back on a few of the options and features of the eclassic to make the stove more affordable. Sounds like there might be a few improvements to design also.
He has some on order and they should be arriving in the coming weeks. Im eager to check them out. Its nice to see a gasifier line of stoves start at $6500.
Besides the 350 and 550, there's also a 750 that should be available later this summer.

I'm not seeing it on the list of EPA approved stoves?

I couldn't find it either. I was hoping to find some efficiency numbers and btu burn times.

Oh come on, it’s Central Boiler, the EPA will take their word on it and pass it without testing.

LOL.

My guess is they completed the testing and have setup to start building them and are waiting for the EPA to process the paperwork.

I believe that would be near impossible if not completely impossible, last I knew the best you could do on a high efficiency gas furnace was 97%.
