Well the old Ford and new show trailer are set up and ready to go on a road trip to promote the
HeatMaster G series boilers, our plan is to travel the extreme northern NY corridor out from Plattsburgh through Messina and on to Watertown and then head south to PA. We are looking for dealers and sales in that area so if any of you have ideas, Please PM me, the G 200 that we have on the trailer will be operating while we travel so if any of you would like to see it, again PM me and perhaps we can make it work, after PA, we have been invited to the the Yoter's near Roanoke Va so that is our last stop before turning around and heading home, we will be trying to post pics of the trip along the way for all to enjoy, if however we can't post them here then they will be posted on the other forum that RSI started a year ago so you can see them there, you can find the link by searching here entitled ( anyone with me) The last time I tried to post pics on here the uploader was working so I hope that continues but the alternative is that site, RSI if you get a chance would you please post that link again for me here.

Well have fun and don't pick up any strangers.

-
I already did and I haven't even left Lyman yet, there aren't many folks stranger than Dan! :)

-
Sounds like a good time, slim!  Have fun, can't wait to see some pictures! :pic:

-
the G 200 that we have on the trailer will be operating while we travel

:pic:  who the lucky bugger that gets to ride the trailer and feed the  boiler  ?? ;)
-
				That would be Dan!

-
When will you be near Roanoke Va.?

-
				Sometime thursday I believe!

-
Ok so we finally got out to Watertown NY and getting ready to settle in for the night, we have decent service here but pretty much the entire trip across route 11 has been without service due to the close proximity to the border and Canadian towers, we made some good contacts today, perhaps 2 new dealers, we will see? Here are a few pics starting at Rouses point, the very northern tip of lake Champlain

-
Look closely, off in the distance you can see the windmills that have infiltrated this beautiful landscape and road, I would be willing to bet there are over 100 of them within about 30 miles, not that they are a bad thing in the proper place, I just wish they didn't have to steal our tax dollars to do it

-
Wow Slim you may just pass right threw my town! Im just south east of Williamsport pa. If your coming from Plattsburg straight down it should bring you down Rt15 or it may be corridor 99 by now, I still call it RT 15. I was just up your way 2 weeks ago. We stayed at Watkins Glen State Forrest then traveled what seemed to be all of NY on the bikes the rest of the weekend.. Great view in them parts!

-
We spent the night at the truck stop just outside of Watertown NY off 81 and are planning on back reading it down route 12 today, our goal will be Binghamton NY for tonight, we like the back roads as it gives us the ability to stop in the small towns to speak with the locals and promote the HeatMaster product line, we had a lot of interest with folks along route 11 yesterday! I hope to get lots more pics today and Thank you to whomever is responsible for allowing us to post the pics!

-
A few pics of the G 200 this morning

-
The first one is through the viewing port that I added to my show unit, the second is with opening the reaction chamber door, there is no wonder in my mind why this unit got the numbers it did in testing!

-
I had the chance to stop at one of the P and M customers that I helped with troubleshooting his system last year, it doesn't look like much for hills in the picture but on the way in here the old Ford got a workout, low gear, on the rug and 20 miles per hour at the top of the hills

-
Any idea of a timeframe you're passing through here on Thursday?  I need to take leave from work to meet you.

-
It should be before noon, we will be staying in the Lancaster Pa. Area tonight and then travel time from there.

-
I'm going to try and post some pics for my friend ( old P and M customer that we visited ) he is just north of Binghamton NY and he needs to sell off some items, if anyone is interested Please PM me and I will put you in touch with him directly, he has a 2 year old P and M optimizer 250 ( to small for his application) a Case skid steer with Kubota engine and a Valby three point hitch mounted 6 inch wood chipper that has never been used

-
And here is the Case Skid steer, I wish I knew he had this before I dumped a crapload of money into the one I have, he is looking for $6000 for the skid steer, $6000 for the chipper and $8000 for the 2 year old optimizer 250

-
Do you remember what the numbers are on that skid steer?  I can't tell what it is from the picture.

-
I could not find a data plate in the position it was in, I could send you Allen's phone number if you like!

-
That's ok Slim.  I was just curious.  It doesn't look like it's big enough for what I would want it for.

-
I think he said it was a bit over a 7000 pound machine.

-
OK, I'll put in for leave for the whole shift and cancel whatever's left after you leave.

-
Slim made it through the area earlier this evening since he was ahead of schedule.  I got 35' of Logstor and four fittings from him and got to talk to him for a while.  The gasser he had on the back was pretty nice looking too.

Safe journey to slim and his partner.  I'm sure we'll see some more updates as long as the banjo music didn't get too loud for him out here in the hills of WV.
-
Thanks Jed, there ain't nothin wrong with Banjo's and WV sure does have some nice country, I wish I had taken a few pics but by the time we got fuel it was dark!

-
Dan and I have always wanted to see this, it's the battlefield at Gettys

I was able to see Gettysburg...Lots of history there..

-
We reached our destination in Floyd VA on Thursday evening, this is where the Yoder family held there dealer meeting Friday and Saturday, I would like to thank  our office for funding the trip and the Yoder's for putting up with Dan and I, it was a great and constructive meeting, lots of information, I have been to lots of supposedly service oriented dealer meetings for different products over the years and mostly they are more alingned with sales pitches, this one however was very educational on servicing, installing and troubleshooting issues in the field, again Thank you to all those involved

-
sounds like you had a good trip.

-
Yes we did Coolidge, the old Ford stayed together with zero issues the entire trip, I sure do wish we had AC though, there were a few times when it was 95 degrees outside and we were sitting in stopped traffic, the 7.3 litre diesel under the hood sure does send some extra heat into the cab!

Yep, have the AC out on one of the articulated tractors now, that 3208 Cat makes a lot of heat under a load. Front windows open in such a way that they act as a scoop to catch the hot air the fan is blowing back, rear window opens bottom out to catch all the hot air created by 25 gallons of hot hydraulic fluid in the rear end. No AC sucks. Previous owner (idiot) has never changed the receiver/dryer would be my guess as have plenty of charge, but the line from the dryer back gets cold and by time it reaches the evaporator its warming back up. Just bought this one a year or two ago for a spare and it’s worked kinda OK, not near as good as the rest I’ve serviced/rebuilt that will about give you the chills when cranked on high.
-
Again another road trip, this time to beautiful northern NH, just outside of Littleton we stopped by an old friend and customer in Lyman, NH, I'll try to post a few pics

-
Great! That one worked! Notice the 2 fifty plate heat exchangers, one feeding the house boiler about 150 feet away with a 20 foot rise and the second feeding the elevated shop, if they will post have a look at these 2 beauties housed inside that shop

-
Great! That one posted but these next two, this will be my third try? That last one was his 3 year old boiler, notice the two fifty plate heat exchangers on the right, one is feeding his house about 150 feet away and 20 feet above and the other feeds the elevated shop. This is what I found housed in the shop
