Title: CEMENT PAD SPECIFICATIONS FOR A NEW 400 CB
Post by: tinfoilhat2020 on July 23, 2015, 05:54:52 AM
Hey guys, I have just placed an order for a new 400CB.....I have talked to two different dealers whom have told me two different things regarding the pad size....my local dealer told me that the pad specs are the same as the older models and the dealer from whom i bought my stove told me that the pad dimensions have changed and require a bigger pad.....I JUST WANT A STRAIGHT ANSWER!!! lol    My pad is 55 x 86.  I hope that this is fine....ANY OWNERS OUT THERE THAT CAN CONFIRM PAD SIZE FOR ME????

Thanks!

Does your manual say anything about the required pad dimensions?  Couldn't you just measure the new boiler to see if it will fit on the existing pad?

I have just ordered the boiler and is being shipped via freight to my house. I cant measure the boiler myself until it gets here. I have already layed a new pad off the specifications from the older model 400's, which i found via the manual on the heatmor site.....two dealers are telling me two different things now....I will make it work regardless, just seeing if anyone on here had a direct answer.

thanks!
