I'm ready!  They are saying there's a good chance of a strong El Nino this year though.  We went to the Illinois state fair tonight and it was in the 60's.  Supposed to get down in the 50's here tonight.  I'm ready to start a fire!

Nope.

I still need to:
Dig a trench and install Logstor
Pour a pad and set the boiler
Run electrical
Finish the rest of the plumbing

I'm installing the hot water coil next Friday along with some new ducting and a larger (properly sized) AC coil.  The air movement should be more efficient.

Yup, been ready since April..... 17 cord inside and acres of dead ash to start cutting as soon as the snow starts flying.

I am so not ready. We are going to be in high 40s tonight here in wisconsin. There is a pallet place down the road from me I think I'm going to see if I can buy scrap pieces. I didn't have or make time this summer. I'm going to be screwed this winter.

I hear that, thought I caught up with the dead ash last winter, looks like I barely made a dent in it now. Gonna talk to a neighbor just down the road, him and his son don’t burn wood but I counted almost a hundred dead ash along the perimeter of his woods.

Where the hell did the summer go?

Yep, still have a lot of hay to make and this week here feels more like late September than late August.

Was going to paint the roofs on all the pole barns and grain bins this summer, June and July were a bust with all the rain, now too busy with hay.

And no I’m not ready mentally for winter, I’m still waiting for summer. May was wet, June was really wet and cold, July a little better, haven’t even been in a pool yet this year.

Ready, but I won't fire up until Nov. 1. I'd like to burn up some of this cheap LP this fall, since I had to pay a premium price for oak logs last fall, for this years burning.
