Title: question on hanging heat exchanger in barn
Post by: pointer80 on October 07, 2015, 04:54:14 PM
hello all,  I have a 100,000 btu hanging heat exchanger in my workshop and I have a question about the feed and return lines.  Does it matter how I hook up the lines to the hanging unit?  What I mean is which line goes on the top or bottom hook ups on the hanging unit?  Thanks all.

Well on the one hand if the supply is hooked to the bottom, should get all the air out, you’ll get warmer air though if the supply is hooked so it flows thru the part first that the air exits. Or other words you want the hottest water away from the fan.
