Title: 5036 Chimney
Post by: sabercat on October 18, 2015, 05:38:26 PM
I have a 3 year old 5036. I have to replace the chimney tee, and when I got it tore apart I noticed the pipe was in rough shape also, the SS liner was warped, like the tee was. I got the tee at the local dealer, and I didn't get the price from them on the pipe. It is probably expensive, but anyone have a place to get the Hi-Heat pipe? Oh ya the dealer said  I must have had some hi temp in there. What size is this pipe considered 8" ? Thanks

You should be able to get the pice you need from  your
Dealer  you  will  also need a rope gasket that goes on end in the boiler

We had to replace one at the shop and it was covered under the central boiler warranty

Ya me too, the metal was peeled up around where the pipe went up, and the first joint of pipe was frayed also. I puller the clean out lid off probably start and half way thru the winter and checked for ash etc. It was never really creasoted up, just usually some fine ash.
