Started up the kiln today after almost a year to give the boiler a litte more of a workout in the shoulder season, forgot to take picks before I closed it up. Had it up to 180 last year with a load of fresh splits.

Temp inside on about 18 hrs run time.

turned the kiln off yesterday, gave it 24 hours to cool, split this piece of white maple and took a temp reading of the inside.

End result for at least this piece of white maple.

Reloaded and rebuilt my baffle.
