Congrats on your build!  Looks like a good sized unit.  What size is your firebox?  how many gallons of water?  what are you heating?

The burn chamber is 36"x48"
Water chamber is 48"x60"
All the flat steel is 1/2"
Water capacity is 290 gal
Dayton fan. 325cfm
Harbor freight water pump 650/hr
I insulated it with (take and rake) insulation from Menards
It is approx 1ft thick all around the stove snow and frost sets on top of it So
I think it's insulated good enough
I used just regular pex a 1" tubing I insulated them with swimming noodles I found on clearance at Walmart .25 each !!
I have a 22x25 exchanger
10 plate for the domestic hot water
The water treatment was a eBay item
I shopped around and I ended up getting most of the items on eBay

Nice job!I like that big door! That would sure make it easy to load the big wood.
Nice shop to make that in.I love using the Pirahana in our shop at work.Sure saves alot of time.I scored lots of my stuff on ebay also.Good deals to be had there.
So have you figured out what little things your stove likes to make it run good?
Great job!

Good looking stove. I like the large door to. Will make loading a lot easier. Now its time to start cutting wood to keep it fed!!!. I am sure you will enjoy your stove.Beats the heck out of buying oil, propane,or paying those expensive power bills.

This seems to be the most convenient way for me to load the bigger pieces!!
I cut them about 2ft x 2ft x 4ft it will last for 3-4 days!!

Well its been alittle over a year since I put the stove in and there are a couple things I would do different if I built another stove , but I'd say I'm 98% satisified with it
