Last year around this time we had over a foot of snow on the ground with high temps in the upper teens to lower 20's. This morning it's in the 30's and raining. Granted we had a bit of ice yesterday but overall, it's been a very mild fall. I ain't complaining. Roger

Last November we had 67 inches of snow and several nights below 0. This year the ground is not even froze, and we have had 3 inches so far. Been nice being able to continue getting wood and not using very much to keep the place warm. Been burning scrap wood.

Snowing here, but supposed to be close to 50 by Sunday.

High 40's to low 50's here in S.E. Michigan. No freeze in sight for the next week and a half.
Hate the mud but love being able to burn edgings from the saw mill instead of the big chunk wood.
20 hr burn on a load of mixed hardwood edgings

Don't think I'll be ice fishing by Christmas this year.
-
Still fishing on the bay in Brimley, Lake Superior in a boat. Had a light cover of ice a few weeks ago that moved out.

Oh stop it, the previous two or three years in freaking November more than once I was sure I had frostbite on my fingers from having to do electrical work outside.
