Into the second month of the second season of my boiler, and still learning about wood consumption and all the other wonders of the topic.
Each time I return to the house I give a status update on the boiler temperature and how the coals look.
She politely acknowledges what I have to say, but I don't think she is as fascinated about it as me. What's up with that?

I quit doing that after the first week, wife and kids don't care as long as there axes are warm.

Mine hardly acknowledges my comments about boiler status. Quick to chime in when the water is cold!

My wife complains that I pay more attention to the stove then I do to her! The stove never says no and doesn't talk back lol !

I got lucky then. The wife is a bit of a gear head, not a lot but just a bit.
She appreciates neat toys though. Was in the UK and visited an air museum that had the first prototype Concorde on display, she thought it was cool.
If it hits 60 Saturday like they are claiming she said she’s gonna wash and wax the G400. Been kinda dusty here lately.
I have a 99 Dodge Cummins 4x4 that’s pushing 500hp, Sun transmission, 5” stacks, 1200 watt stereo.
Ive heard from a few people she’s done the random holeshot with it where and there when I let her drive it.
If she’s neglecting her wifely duties it’s time to let her drive it, just like a female version of viagra for her.

My wife doesn't care about the details, but she does call the boiler her best friend. She loves the smell, the hot air coming out of the vents, the long showers she can take, and not paying the propane bill.

I built my hx manifold from a picture i took at Richards neighbors house when I was up there. My wife always watches the gauges on the supplys and returns on both sides. Its great because I always have nice updates about what the boiler is doing without having to go outside to look at it. :D
