Is anyone running the new Optimizer 250?

I know of one in Vermont and he seems very happy with it so far, he is on here from time to time but I doubt he will post about it as it's not tagged yet!

Other than firebrick spacers, what is new on the Optimizer 250?  :-\

I think Brian said they had a variable speed blower, and a positive pressure base.

It uses a draft inducer instead of a positive pressure blower, the draft inducer is variable speed and the unit is supposed to be sectional with a dry firebox.

What is a positive pressure blower?

A blower blows air into the fire box creating a positive pressure to push the gases through the boiler, a draft inducer sucks the air through the boiler and out the exhaust, this helps with not creosting the door gaskets as quickly and allows for better air control in higher efficiency units

Sounds like good improvements.  Any points of corrosion concern on the updated design?
