Shutting down the boiler tomorrow, it's seems after 6 months of operating sometimes I feel a little anxiety letting the fire die out. I spent all season maintaining the original fire, seems sad after all the effort watching the fire come to a end. Could you please send me to outdoor boiler anonymous.

The only anxiety I experience is listening to the oil burner run after it being quiet for nearly 7 months. The one thing I miss the most from having the OWB shutdown is the consistent hot water from the indirect tank. In the summertime I have to rely on the on demand from the oil burner. I hate it. The water temp fluctuates too much. Now I gotta flush the FPHX, seeing my 5th season using it just came to close, I'm going to change the water and chemical, clean it and tuck it in for the summer. Common cure would be too install the AC units.

The first few days after shutdown seems a little weird. No hurry to get to the stove to reload, walking across the farmyard and not seeing or smelling some smoke. The best part is I'm gaining on wood supply instead of using wood supply. Looking forward to the warm weather of the season.
