Post by: ijon on June 15, 2016, 02:47:03 AM
Does anyone have a picture of their bl 2840 pump installation in the boiler?

I have a couple ijon, I can try to post them on here later this evening. Is there a something specific or a general pic of the pump area?

I don't have much luck posting pics. See if this works?
Someday I will move the pump or return line to the same sides but it was easier at the time to hook it up the way I did.
Yes I am pulling from the top and returning to the bottom as per the original manual.

my pump is in the basement, pulling from the top of the OWB and returning to the bottom, taco 0011, same pump since 2001

Thats about how long I used my Grundfos for in the basement, new stove had the new pumps placed at the rear. Unless Grundfos drastically cheapened things up I don’t expect to have to change one for a long time. Original pump is still in use, just on snow melt duty now.

Thank you all. I am hooking up the pump for a friend of mine. Mine is in the basement.
