I saw companies like Ridgewood, Timberwolf have closed their doors and I read last night that Hawken energy might be closing the doors? They weren't responding to emails or calls I guess? I hate to see all these guys closing up shop. We are going to have a bad winter and heating fuel prices are going to sky rocket & demand for stoves will come back. I spoke with a farmer the other day that told me we have a full supply of propane in the US at this time but the grain is wet and farmers are using more and more propane to dry it. Thus meaning reserves will be depleted and prices will go up ten fold like it was 2 years ago at $7.25 a gallon in Indiana.

If the companies can build it cheaper oversees and sell it for more profit by doing so, they will.
Too many regulations, corporate greed in this country.
Americans would just soon buy ten of the same thing year after year instead of buying one for more money and keeping it for all those years.
We are a throw away country, it breaks, throw it away and buy new, that's built cheaper, but cost more.
It's the American way now.
A piece of my equipment broke down today, not even one year old, my job was shut down resulting in a loss, this piece of equipment was made overseas. Junk.
I will pay 100.00 more for the same thing, but built in the USA will have to be on it.

Unfortunately you just can’t get away from made in china on some stuff. Try finding a TV, camera or microwave actually built here, some ag electronics are assembled here in the USA, but you know all the components are made in the good ole PRC.

Look at the quality of US made goods today. How many people have had issues with their OWB due to poor quality? The US quality for mass produced goods is no better than the overseas junk it just cost more. That is why the overseas market is as good as it is.
