For the past couple days my 200 hasn't been gassing good at all. Got home today around 4, water temp at 159 and at 840 tonight it hasn't stopped running, just smoking. Wood is dry, nozzle clear, snap disc at 100 percent. Wife said it smoked all day. Ideas?

Two things off the top of my head, is the bypass properly closing? Can you feel it pulling any air thru the damper? Something silly like the set screw coming loose on the blower wheel perhaps?

Bypass closing, sucking air good, thought about set screw about 5 min ago, check tomorrow.

Perhaps the reaction chamber full of ash or restricted maybe back under the vertical tubes?
You say the nozzle is clear, remember this isn't your old 250, it needs coals right at and over the nozzle, you won't plug it!

All clean, I actually clean that out every other day. Will be awhile before I can even get to the boiler to put wood in. I would say at least two feet of snow.

This is a newer model with the round bypass? I talked to one of our dealers from the Indianapolis area, he said they had a few older styles wit the square bypass with a gasket in it, replacing the gasket didn’t help and they actually had to bend the arm the door is mounted to so it would close properly to seal all the way around.

Cleaned ashes out, checked things out, ran good today.
Must have been telling me a storm was coming.
