I came home from errands to find this guy bedded down in my driveway, coyotes or bobcat had gotten too his neck, got permission to put him down him. He didn't have any fight at all left in him. Poor little guy, legs are all scarred up from the crusty snow. Guess I am busting a few miles of trail for them next week, maybe start feeding.

I am shure some will go to jerky, another batch marinating right now.

Good man. I'm probably the number one person who they call for road kill deer around here. I'm on the list for 3 local police districts and 2 DEM lists. I usually field dress every one I get , then I decide if they go to the game club for game dinners or to local people who need the meat or lastly jerky or sausage. They won't call me if they are hit really bad. 2 weeks ago I got a double , 2 cars 2 deer all were perfect, next batch of sausage is ready to go.
