If things couldn't get any worse I had to put down my oldest Golden Retriever this afternoon, she had a softball sized tumor in her abdomen, very little chance she would survive the surgery. Kids and youngest Golden are not taking this very well.
She is at peace now.

Dogs are the best. Sorry for your loss.

That sucks, coolidge. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry to hear about it Coolidge, you gave her a good life, I have had to do the same thing several times and it never gets any easier. Get another one soon, it helps!

Still have my 4 year old Golden, she is doing a bit of pouting today, but the squirrels are keeping her busy.
Thanks guys.

So sorry to hear that , Loosing your dog is always hard. My yellow lab is 11 and I dread the day he's not with me anymore.

Yep, the loss of a much loved pet is a lot harder to lose than lets say a mother in law.
Our oldest australian shepard is 14 going on 15, still gets around fine, is blind in one eye and starting to go deaf.
The wife picked up a new dog awhile back, she’s 15 weeks old Friday and we’ve had her for 9 weeks. Not going to be much for herding cattle as she’s a toy but she’s already doing pretty good herding cats.
New dog (Jess) leading Dawn (old dog) around.

Yes sorry for your loss Coolidge.
Have to agree with mLappin on his mother in law view.
Even though I divorced mine.
Animals are great.
