Came across a new unfired 6048 i can get for $7250. No warranty available, I would be second owner.  Good deal????

I would try getting it for less. If you ever have a big problem the warranty is probably worth more than that.  Did you try getting the dealer to deal on a new one? If you tell them what they need to get the sale they may go down a lot. Then you could always use those numbers with the seller of the used one.
