Me and the boy went out for a walk in the woods today.
First two pics are from the back property line.
Third pic is a panorama of some of my woods.

Beautiful land,, great pictures.
Looks a bit like Algonquin park with the big hills and high ground.
Wow!!

That is a beautiful view you have there Coolidge. 👍👍🌲🌲.
Looks like a well managed forest. New growth coming in on the panoramic view.
One acre will produce three cords a year when managed correctly. And that's hard wood.

Most of the wood in that picture is disease beech, it hasn't grown much at all since I've had it.
Forester suggested it all go.
We found something I have never seen before, hundreds of red oaks being born.

I’ve had two foresters tell me this, but if you really want the red oaks to proliferate, burn your woods off once in awhile. Probably not easy to do in your area, but here if I set a fire it run thru the woods then quit, most of our woods stand alone, run a disk around em and it can’t go anywhere.

There was a Forester right near my house, I got all the scraps from the trees that they didn't use, I have enough wood for the next 2 year's, all red oak

How much land do you own Coolidge

44.5 acres right now, thinking about the 47 that's available one lot over from me.
