Title: tutorial videos - taking out and cleaning sight glass on G series
Post by: tinfoilhat2020 on November 30, 2017, 05:38:32 AM
I know I have asked a few members privately about this, but does anyone have a good instructional video on how to remove and clean the sight glass on a g series stove? if not, any possibility that one of the Heatmaster dealers wants to make a tutorial video on this??? From a consumers stand point this would be very very helpful.

one thing I noticed that would really help all manufacturers is more OWB tutorial videos. This would be my biggest recommendation from a consumer standpoint. I have purchased 3 OWB over the past 5 years (bought on each time we moved). I was always on youtube trying to find tutorial videos on each brand, and besides a few from CB (which I wasn't interested in anyways), there really isn't much out there. Walk through videos, videos of stove components, videos of stoves in use, maintenance videos, troubleshooting videos...ect.

Yes, I know there are a few out there for HM, but besides the few old one...there is not much.

Just wanted to throw this out there for what its worth. :bash:

I made some videos for older models a couple of years ago during our slower summer months. I was amazed the time I spent editing and reshooting.... Very time consuming, well worth it in the long run.

I don't know about anyone else when they were searching out stoves but I was all over YouTube trying to find good videos

I have a few videos on my channel.  Here is a cleanout video.  There are a few more, but not many tutorial videos.  My next video, when I get around to it, is a video of my plate exchanger setup.
