As I have said in another post I got a Hardy H2 used last year. I buried 4 lines from the stove to the house, 2 for heat and 2 for DHW. during the hook up I found that the coil in the top of the water jacket for the DHW was bad. A dealer told me that it was a 60 foot coil of copper pipe. I am sure that the stove has been frozen at some time in the past so I think the copper is split.
My question is get some different views on replacing the copper or just adding a plate heater at the 40 gallon tank.
My H2 is 200 + feet from the house and I run the pump 24/7 during heating season.
Thanks for your ideas.

What size of pipe are you using? The reason I ask is because around here often I have seen Hardy furnaces installed using 3/4 pipe. Its really hard to get good hot water and heat of 3/4 lines if you are running 200ft.
-
I have 3/4 inch lines
-
What size is the other set?
I would put both sets in parallel and use a heat exchanger in the house.

RSI makes a good point. I actually have done just that when replacing existing units and it works well.
-
RSI I am not sure what you mean by that. Can you explain?
Thanks

I meant connect the two sets of lines together so you have more capacity.
Are all 4 lines the same size?
-
Yes, all 4 are the same. I was just wondering which way is the most efficient.

Running the water all the way out there and back in again doesn't sound very efficient.
