Post by: coolidge on January 08, 2018, 07:45:55 AM: Talked to a guy this morning who knows where there are 3 1000 gallon propane tanks that are going to get cut up for scrap.

Got me thinking of buying them and installing solar on garage roof ( in sun most of year) and heating 3000 gallons hotwater throughout the summer.

I need to stop running into people.

Post by: Pointblank on January 08, 2018, 05:55:05 PM: Awesome! Thats a huge BTU store. You can hook your wood boiler into them during the winter and do one long burn every couple days instead of messing with the stove twice a day.

Never stopped me before, but, 500 sqft of solar panels might get her attention pretty quick.
