Title: Flood
Post by: coolidge on January 14, 2018, 08:15:26 AM
With all the rain we got Friday into Saturday, slight issue with flooding.
There is now about 2 feet of ice covering the road.
Will add about 20 minutes if I need to go to town.

Same problem where I am, Coolidge.  Yesterday afternoon I had to make a run to the hardware store.  I drove by this area where it always floods.  The water was up to the road but not over it.  About a half hour later when returning home there was well over a foot of water running over the road and rising.  My little car made it through without any problems.  Roger

I have no idea how they are going to reopen this until spring. Neighbor just told me there is a lot more than 2 feet of solid ice there.

WOW that is a mess. I thought we had some water issues down here with the rain and snow melt but it didn't get to freeze up like that.
