Hey Crazee,

Get your furnace yet???  Still waitin' on mine.  Delivery truck broke down....

Not to side track,  I got that urecon for 12.50 foot.  Appears to be top quality, and hoping for the best.  Stiff to work with, but been in the ground for 3 weeks now and waiting for delivery of the next piece of the puzzle.  Wood pile complete and working on extra, to be safe, or get jump on next year.

I had never seen that before. It is very interesting. I wonder if they make the Thermopex for Central Boiler. I have seen people say Rehau did and some say Urecon did but I think this looks closer and it is made in Illinois (not that far from Central Boiler)

After a little more searching, I think I have seen it before. I just skipped by because of the prices I saw.

anytime i am ready.  who did you get your urecon from best i can do is 13.80 a foot
and the rhino stuff is 10.50 only problem is urecon is a 2 hour drive and the rhino stuff is in il.

Pat,

Mayberry's store in N. NJ.  They are P & M dealer.  I would think shipping would kill the deal for you.

Suggest calling Brian directly at P & M.  He offered same price but shipping from Can. was substantial to PA.  He found Mayberry had in stock and I was able to pick-up.  Give it a shot...Hope this helps!

Brian was the best price but the problem is shipping

my friend ron drives truck to winnepeg weekly and he is going to pick up my unit

the problem is i need 12 feet of deck space on the truck for unit and pipe

if i just get the unit it is easier for ron because he can still fill the rest of the truck with wood

if i need 12 feet that is almost half of one of his trailers

and i would have to pay for what he would lose on wood. if its just the unit it is much easier

i can get urecon for 13.80 a foot and a 2 hour drive one way.

that price is from green valley in lucan ONT. they are the only ont dist for urecon

but they have been very helpful with different information so that`s where i am going to get it.

Pat,

Lots of fun workin' out the logistics of getting all components home!

Waiting patiently for delivery of my furnace...

Baseball and beer helping, along with a bit of splitting thrown in for good measure.

Many years ago Mayberry's was a hot word around the boating community. He was one of the first selling the Honda EU2000 generators on line at a reasonable price.

Still didn't get your OWB yet Bill? Whats the expected delivery now?

It was 46F this morning here. Looking forward to the cooler weather this week. (Highs in the 70's) Don't worry - not cool enough to fire up the OWB.

Hey Ridgekid,

Haven't been in touch w/store in a few days.  Will call for progress report on "broke down" delivery truck in the AM.  Busier than a cat w/3 ********  lately.  My son is pitching well for his baseball teams and 8-1 and 9-1 records respectively!!  On the hill twice a week and getting through 7 inning games w/low pitch counts.  So his arm holding up well.  Lots of fun at that 14-15 year old level.  Burnin' a bit of gasoline with all the away games though, and the "victory" meals and drinks afterward are really adding up!

Would sure like to finish up the furnace project soon!!!

Wood supply lookin' fat at least!

Keep in touch...

Pat, find that pipe yet??

Very impressive record indeed! Enjoy those victories! Are we going for a State Championship? Maybe going to the Nationals?

Ridgekid,

Were PA State Jr American Legion Champions last year!  Maybe a repeat performance???  Sure hoping for it.  'Nother win tonight and of course more "wings and Yeaug's".  Or wings and pepsi for the real victors!

No return phone call on furnace, but was out most of the day.

I had the opportunity to go to the Winston-Salem Dash vs the Baltimore Keys game last night. Caught a foul ball. These are farm teams for the Chicago White Sox and Baltimore Orioles. First baseball game I've been to in years. Going to have to go and see the Altoona Curve play when I get home. They are the farm team for the Pirates.

You only got four months to get the OWB installed. Hope they don't wait till the last minute!

Pat,

Nice savings!  Sure is challenging lining up all necessary hardware.  Road trip usually always fun.

Happy days, My furnace arrived safely this morning.  Will get a picture or 2 up just as soon as I can.  Looks all good sitting on the new concrete.  Had rain storm early morning and delivery truck left a few "lasting impressions" but nothing a load of topsoil won't cure.  Glad he didn't get stuck, since my truck still being repaired...little chev cobalt don't work as tow truck!

Next on punch list, plumbing.  Then electric, which I will recruit my pro buddy.  I'll do rough in, but he gets the hook in work.

Keep in touch...no time to even sit and admire w/refreshment in hand.

Ridgekid,
Can't believe how the days fly by in nice weather!  ALWAYS something to work on and I suppose long hours of daylight makes one think we should take advantage of these days to get everything accomplished, pronto!  Dbl header baseball games yesterday, clear down in Spring City, (near Philla.) yesterday.  Exhibition games as Boyertown and Spring City wanted another crack at our defending Swoyersville PA State defending Champions!  Victories are very sweet for us!  2 great games and my son came in to close the first game.  2 innings in relief and shut them down.  Came in earlier in Spring city game, 4 innings and gave up only 1 run.  6 total innings pitched and ERA of 1...Sure am proud of him, and his teammates,  he said Happy Father's Day, those games are for you!

Pat,
Furnace looks great!  Fit and finish all fine and welds that I can see are impeccable!!!  Really looking forward to hook 'er up phase!  Yes, we will have to fire up the P & M section of forum, once we get a little experience with these units.  KarlK, has a years' burning experience with his OPT 250.  He was very instrumental in my decision to get one.  He lives 20 min. from me and was more than willing to show off his in operation.  I need to find time to give him a call and Thank him.  I see he posts on a few other sites, and tell him us "rookies" are here.

If I was to name my second choice, that cb gassifirer looked really good, also.  Both companies turning out good products.

Keep in touch guys!!
