Title: Outdoor furnace still running??

Just curious...Anyone still running their outside furnace?? I know a few people that run theres all yr long..

Nope- Although the wife would love it if I would. She's missing the DHW. Unfortunately the OWB interferes with the operation of the AC unit. Told her to think SNOW.  She thought I was cursing at her. (She don't like that four letter word)

Mine is shut down right now because we have the windows open  As soon as the A/C fires up so does the OWB. Wth the small amount of wood I use for DHW its still a good savings over the fuel oil.

Still buring. Can't bring myself to valve in the propane. It's so little wood to heat my two water heaters. Love my cb.

Fired back up last week. Its nice to not hear the oil burner running. Fill 3x a week with scab wood. Life is good.

Still burning never shut down. Like the savings on DHW. Will shut down probably early fall to to mantance mabe new door gasket and a drain and flush this fall.

hi there,

really had a hard time for maintaining my furnace, it's been the 3rd time that I changed it..what I've done is a annually or quarterly inspection by my hvac service that does the work for my furnace..it's a relief for me..
