Congrats on your new toy, I don't know anything about them but it sounds like you are breaking it in well.

I suggested something like this before, it is done on another site that I go to (a gun site) they have site supporters who pay a small fee per year and have a link section to their services.

Matty, he is saying that the list of things that he knows nothing about is long not the list of OWB. I am in the same boat about things that I know nothing about LOL

For Sale / Re: Splitter For Sale

It is an awesome looking splitter and if I didn't have one I would make the drive. I am sure it won't last long but if it does rent it out for $50 a day and make your money back.

As long as the floor that is there now don't move when you walk on it (loose boards) I would use skimcoat or some other brand leveling compound and then 1/4 inch luan underlayment and nail it down every 5 inches.

Fire Wood / Re: Pulling trees down
« on: May 09, 2012, 07:09:54 AM »
I would try the smaller ones first and move on up in size trying to pull them out. When you get to one you can't pull, hook up the snatch block. If the smaller ones are close to the bigger ones it may help loosen their roots up a little. Oh and do post pictures.

I think you are right woodman, the house at 75* and long hot showers takes a little more wood but it is still cheaper than electric, gas, oil, or propane

I was thinking after you get it all taped up and in the drain pipe. You would need as straight a shot as possible because I think it would be hard to curve.
