					My opionion  flat plate exchanger is the only way to go im running a 30 plate for 6 years now never had to touch it, and saves running another pump
i can fill my hot tub 500 gallons with 130 degree water ! its on demand thats what i like about flat plate echangers you not storing it.

					maybe presuure check your lines simple way of finding out whats going on, then you know if all is well with the lines its somthing with the furnace,

					hilbilly yes you still need the oil furnace pump also you should be able to leave the wiring alone cause the outdoor wood furnace should be kept hotter to fool the oil boiler , not to fire cause the water is hot enough, or right now does the pump only run when the oil boiler is running ?

					hey scissorbill, what model di you have a mf 5000 or a ss 4000 also what made it burn up, i have around 200 heatmaster furnaces ot there and never had any problems like this, out of that 200 i have had 1 fail due to faulty weld, my customer got a new furnace, im just curious thanks steve

					Hey Muffin.
Try a ranco or a jhonson control digital aquastat we use these on heatmaster furnaces, they can be set for a one degree differential, im using one on my hot tub they work great.
