Could be getting creosole on it. I do burn a lot of green wood. As for the starter compasiter, I'm on my third blower in 14 months. All the same brand and model because they had a 1 year warranty and I've just been sending them back.

First post here.
I have a homemade owb that my uncle built for me in 2010. Im on my third blower. They run fine for a month or two then have the following problem. The blower does not kick on when it should per aquastat. However if I take something and spin the the wheel on the blower by hand it takes right off. The blower is a Dayton 1TDP3. I did notice it is only a 50cfm, which is smaller than most being used on this forum. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Getting tired of going out in the morning and my water temp being cold.
