General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / shaver top loader

Does anybody have on know anything about this.  I think the idea is great, would eliminate alot of wood processing and manual work.   And price seems right for what it is.  I know shaver has had a bad rap before but are these any better.

The inside of my Heiss boiler is lined with refractory cement, looks like the same thing that firebrick is made out of. Is said to withstand up to 3000 degrees, have not had a chance to use it yet.

Just got my 2011 model 3000 elite. have not used it yet but think it will work good and have thousands less invested in this then comparable steel models. No welds to crack, no steel to rust, and no worry about freezing.  They have an interesting design and i think some good ideas.  They are kind of crude, but have made improvements over the years and are getting better every year. the only disadvantage I can see is they are very heavy.   I wouldn't ignore them just because they are not like everybody else, but do some research and decide what will work best for you
