Judds,
Please call the factory and ask for Mike Gulusha (sp?) 218-386-2769
He is the warranty and parts guy. I think you have a bad flapper assy or? They will help!
I think by putting a box around the fan you could be restricting air flow?
Did you remove the restrictor in the tube for coal use?
Its page 30. I have never used coal.
After all you have gone through with your install the furnace should NOT
be causing you problems. Nor should you have to spend more money after
a brand new stove!
Did you buy from dealer? get after them to help!
You are going through the worst part get this bug fixed learn how much you need to load.
I never fill mine more than 1/2 and stilll get about 8 hrs. 10 to 12 " rounds 3/4 full 12 hrs.
Please post factory help. Theres really allot of intrest in that here.

So I took the fan off held it perp to pipe and turned it on the flap opened to 1 3/4"
Started with the magnet at the bottom of flap, It opened to 1 1/4" so moved it to
where the flap opened to 1 1/2". It does seem to be a little more pressure to open
when off but is such a small amount ?
The magnet is about an ounce.
Moved magnet to bottom of flap and stove still seems to be fine.
Waiting for the wind to pick up now.

I have a 200 also.
Never had the problem of over heating. Have noticed that when we have strong wind
it does  push air through.
I am going to take my fan off today and see how much pressure the flap has when on.
I think putting a bolt welded inside the flap to give it more weight.
The bolt can have weight added by nuts or washers.
I will see if this will be really cheap fix to help.
What do you think about this?

Treatment size depends on model size.
Call factory for nearest dealer.
200css is 2 gal
400 css is 2.5 gal.
It is expensive but worth it.
Also check the anode rod.
Where are you at?
Whats the size and age.

Willie,
Yes I put the robotic glass decking cell in over Christmas break then stayed for 2 months in London
babysitting the new cell, shut the plant down a couple of times when the robots went down, white shirts everywhere.
Worked for ABB at the time.
Started detailing after that, now proudly have red iron in my blood.
Do allot of plant rework so I know how good iron workers can be.
I do most of my detailing for Dobson Industrial. Union shop have there own erection crew.
Do you work for a fabricator or erector?

Home Made / Re: placement of water return and exit in tank

I think drawing from the bottom would also get better mixing of the water.
Is the hottest water next to the water jacket and cooling as it rises and mixes.
If it were a storage tank and you wanted to get stratification yes pull from top
return to bottom.
Heatmor returns to left top and draws from right bottom

Willie,
All oak most real good and dry some a little punky but overall quality wood.
I put 1000ft of radiant in my main floor and am so happy with it, the wife really loves to have a warm floor
in the mornings, even offered to help with wood next year. It uses a lot less wood than the coil in my plenum
but will only keep house warm till 0 then needs a little help.
As far as honesty I find all the bs funny I am not selling stoves to make a living I just want to give people a good deal on a product they have decided that they want. If I never sell another stove its fine with me.
Usually fill the stove three times full at 11 pm and half about 11 am and half at 6pm.
this keeps the ashes to a minimum and gets a real good burn.

Scott,
About the stove if you look at the warranty it is prorated as I believe most brands are.
I can only tell you Heatmors warranty but would be curious to know what centrals is word for word.
heatmor from the warranty sheet is
first 5 years 100%
year 6 is 70 %
year 7 is 60%
year 8 is 40%
9 is 20 %
10-19 is 15%
20 and beyond is 10%
The owner of this stove e-mailed me the pictures and I forwarded them to the factory. The owner had a welder come to see if it could be repaired he stated it could not be. Heatmor decided that they would send a new stove to him for 50% of the cost of a new stove about $4500 delived to him, I thought this was a fair offer from heatmor, If you got 10 yrs. and had to pay 50% for a replacement would you be satisified? What would Central Boiler have for a warranty?
Not trying to be trouble am curious. I have only been a dealer for a year and am not so sure if its worth all the extra work involved.
That was the reason i mentioned this as there will be issues that you have no control over.

Hi
I am a Heatmor dealer.
Been following this thread and think I can add some insight about becoming a dealer.
Yea it sounds great when you can get a stove cheap and sell some to recoup your investment!
It started great for me but think first.
1. How do you get them to buyer? How do you intend to move them around?
2. Phone time  I have at least 100 calls of just looking at whats out there. this gets old on weekends.
3. Warranty work. wait till you get some one with 10 yrold furnace that is leaking and wants new for free.
This was my first call thought Heatmor did well to offer to replace furnace for 50% of new cost hooked up
but was told off by owner after spending hours on phone.
4. Parts you will get calls for parts and will not make many $ for time.
5. Do you have a sales tax license?
If you are in the heating bus. not a bad way to go but I now know I will not make much money at this.
I do love my 200 and think it is the best stove on the market.
I have 1800sq ft. log home 6 1/2 full cords so far. Northern Michigan
I will be happy to answer any Heatmor questions for you
