i would take my exchnger by  my dealer   where you bought it from. they should be happy to have one of their guys sweat you on a copper ell and a sweat  x pex adpter. we do it all the time, only charge for the fittings    LIFES GOOD!!!

 :thumbup:good on you man. did you get the panels from Mark?or did you find them elsewhere?weve got several at the shop.if you need anymore. most are 4 x 10. how many you gonna put up?they do a great job, imo                             ill have a set in time gotta do some work on my shed.dont have the southern exposure.                                                                                                weve put up panels two days this week. the customers are really stoked about the set up so far .       
its pretty amazing what four of those panels can do.even in the early spring.                                                                                                       did bruce ever get his hooked up ?you might have to light a fire under him get him on the ball.BUT its hard to teach a dinasour new  tricks!! na he will  soon prob hes wasting all that sun  ya know.                   
good luck w/ the panels ,  gonna be a great weekend to do solar.supposed to be cooler this weekend.  great time for an install.let mr know how it goes...            homey d

thanks scott,maybe these guys will chime in later.has there  never been any conversation on the hicks? or reckon its cause were too far south?  not sure where the majiorty of the folks live on here, but feel its a bit north of the carolina.man its really time consuming trying to figure out where everybodys is from   ya know  maybe some day our location will be posted w/ our register.  thanks again scott

i smell ya frye daddy ,thanks for the reply.same concept but , you need a dry place to tend the stove as well as a dry place for the wood.the furnace i have is equipt w/ solar connections,im sure youra as well. so do the others have solar opts? guess you would need to build a building.or build a stantion to accept solar panels?never seen a stand alone w/ solar panels.but is probally do able

just wondering if any one else has hicks waterstoves? and why they dont list them on here w/ all the other stoves or furnaces? be nice if we owners could find each other to discuss our equiptmnt and ideas??

Would be interesting to see what part of the country members live in. I know in your profile you can list where your from, but would be nice if it was listed under users name when they post. Just a sugestion for the courious.
