This spring when i shut mine down for maintenance. I believe I'm going to fill the area with sand ala Heatmor setup.  Will act as an insulator and keep ashes and such from building up down there.

General Outdoor Furnace Discussion / Lifting a Hardy
« on: October 13, 2013, 06:12:46 PM »
I recently purchased a used Hardy at junk price. The unit appears to be in working order. I have access to a work truck with a crane on it and was wondering if there is a place to lift the unit once you take off the outer shell? If not what would be the best way to move the unit

Plumbing / Baseboard Setup
« on: October 13, 2013, 06:10:50 PM »
I recently had the oportunity to buy a used Hardy at a very good price. Do to the odd layout and age of my home I have decided not to use duct work and to install baseboard heaters. Right now I am throwing around a few ideas on how to hook them up any input would be appreciated. I attached 3 pictures let me know which you think would be best. First and third my cir pump would run all the time.
