General Discussion / Re: Forced air furnace shutting down with coil installed
« on: December 07, 2013, 11:17:02 PM »
The coil is the same size as the plenum. The blower motor comes on, but the furnace will not ignite. I removed the coil, shut it all down/restarted it, and now it works fine. Anxious to get my boiler going... it's 20 below zero up here in MN again tonight!!

General Discussion / Forced air furnace shutting down with coil installed
« on: December 07, 2013, 04:45:17 PM »
Hey all-
I'm in the process of installing my new boiler; just installed the coil in the plenum of my forced air furnace (Carrier Weathermaker 9200), but now the furnace keeps shutting down, as it is sensing a restriction in the air flow. The LED light is blinking a code indicating there may be blocked vents, etc. Anyone experience this when installing their system? Any ideas on fixing this??
THANKS FOR ANY INPUT!!
