Well, Karlk, what did you think? Any pictures? Were they replacing a unit or is this a brand new install? Will they try and get it heating for this year yet or is the plan for next heating season? Enquiring minds want to know. (I have not pulled the trigger yet. Still working both sides of the fence - reading about gasifiers with inside install vs. the BL 2840 outside).

Have my mind made up (almost) about pulling the trigger on a P & M Ultimizer. I have read every post I could find here about them. Anything new? Can you post pics of your set-up? Are you pleased with the operation of the unit? Any issues? Seems like P & M is responsive to issues, is that your experience? Would you buy your unit if you had the chance to do it over again? Thanks in advance. You know the excitement of a new venture.

Plumbing / Sizing unit heater for garage

Hello, I visited this site http://www.ultimategarageheater.com/hot-water-garage-heater/search.php and calculated the size hydronic unit heater I need for my garage. Garage is 26 X 30, 12' ceiling, 2 x 6 walls with fiberglass, ceiling R38. Would a 50,000 BTU unit suffice? It says 200 degree water, I won't be running water more than 180* from a P & M Ultimizer, right?
