yes the expansion is like the pictured setup we opened all line feeds to boilers today while adding water to both units and moved a lot of air out today going tolet water in well recover and redo same tomorrow system is currentlt hot heating our hot water would it be better to do this with system cold thanks for reply

yes we have an air scoop withan expansion tank and a bleeder vlve at the highest on the aqua therm side

we recently had an aquatherm 340 ss installed the system hold good pressur at 12 lbs hot water is constant 180
the system is air bound we have an expansion tank at the wood boiler it feed into our existing hot water system a weil mcclain unit with the old style expansion tank
we have bled the system three time but the air seems to enter the system when we iopen the lines from the wood boiler we are running 1.25 inch pex triple wrapped both sides hold good pressure how can we get rid of this air? any help would be appreciated
