Yes I'll have electric heater as backup. Which I'm using currently, and the monthly hydro bill amounts to $400 for the heating alone!!

It's going to be radiant. As I only need to keep the roots of the plants warm.

Hi everyone,
I'm looking into the possibility of installing a small conventional boiler to keep my greenhouse (soil level) to about 6C, and my chicken coops to above freezing. The total combined area is roughly 1,660 sq ft. What brand and model would you recommend? Coldest it gets here is -20c which usually doesn't last for more than a week.
