If you're shipping USPS use a flat rate envelope to put your bottle in.  Way cheaper.

Maybe this was mentioned earlier-
Where we had failures with the Wilo pumps is the 3 speed selector would break off internally. Otherwise I think they were ok.
So they might work fine now, but my Grundfos and B&G pumps keep on running so why change? :) You get loyal when you don't have service calls for a while.
I think it's a Ford / Chevy /Dodge thing.
I do the regular Taco are not well suited to the grit and trash in an OWB.

I haven't used wilo since we got a few about 10 years ago and they mostly failed.
I'm using Grundfos now. And quite a few B&G. Theyve been great for years.

Were these fittings on the domestic side or boiler side?
I saw a HeatMaster unit with various fittings honeycombed thin recently. Turns out they were using some odd powdered water treatment. I think electrolysis was doing its thing.

Merry Christmas to you.  May the weather be frightful but your fire delightful.

I've never heard of that one.

Yup, that's an easy one to miss. I've had guys go over the whole stove with no improvement, but miss the chunk of ash on top of the fan that was the whole problem.
