The size is a dead giveaway for sure.

Have you guys heard the powasan virus is getting bad in deer tick.  One bite and brain/nervous system damage can occur with no cure to be had.

Crap,,,, Powassan is just up the Hwy 11,,south North Bay,, 20 minutes away............

collecting wood from the bush that we cut this winter, wifey had a tick on her scalp but it was a wood tick not a deer tick

Deer tick [black legged tick] is the one that can carry Lyme disease.
Bill,,How do you know what kind of tick it was??

Bugs, specially blackflies, are bad right now.
I'm in the bush cutting a bit and notice with the chainsaw blaring the bugs don't bother me as much.
I attribute it to the vibration and noise.
Buddy says it's the exhaust from the saw.
You guys notice this???
Is it ultrasonic noise, or exhaust from saw???

She's a Misplaced Toronto city slicker.
But I whipped her into shape.......
We been in the McKellar area 6 years now, but cottaged over on Whitestone for 30+ years.
She won't ever leave the near north now..

Sprayed it down with WD yesterday, it soaked it up.

Everything running like it should. Looks like the middle of the week I will be shutting it down for the year.

Don't be afraid to spray that gasket after you shut the stove down and even a time or 2 throughout the summer months.

Great idea!!!!!! :thumbup:friggin rope is pricey, but I got the last one from the stealer.

Any old leaves on the ground nearby?
Might have to wait till summer and check leaves online?
Nice to have that high heat wood, that splits easy.
