On my new Legend, I installed a new light just like the one that came with the unit, only I added a red bulb.  I tied it into the fan motor so when the fan runs, the light comes on. That way  I can look out the window and see how often and how long the fan runs.  My unit is set at 180/170 degrees and today it was 45 degrees outside
 and it took 10 minutes to raise the water temp 10 degrees.

 I HAD A SHAVER THAT I PUT ELECTRICAL OFF/ON SWITCH WITH LIGHTS ON IT. IT WORK REALLY GOOD, SOLD MY PIECE OF crap SHAVER AND BOUGHT ME ACCMEFURANCE AND GOING TO DO THE SAME THING ON IT WHEN I FINE SOME LIGHTS

GREEN-----MEANS POWER ON TO STOVE AT ALL TIMES
YELLOW-- MEANS POWER TO BLOWER
RED--------MEANS BLOWER ON, THAT I CAN SHUT BLOWER OFF TO FILL STOVE SO I WON'T GET A BACK DRAFT WHEN I OPEN THE DOOR, WORKS REALLY WELL

I love the stack light I installed on my stove when I built it.
mine is set up.
blue-power 115 volts
Green- blower is on, damper actuater on
red-  low water level
Clear- blower bypassed ready to load firebox
amber- not yet used
I can see it from the house which is real nice.

When ya'll get them lights to get the kids to fix the reason they are on, sign me up!

Good ideas, I may install a blue light or something on mine to show me when it's on.
