Water treatment for a Hardy

Does anyone have recommendations on what type of water treatment I should use for my Hardy H2?  I noticed a slight film of buildup on the inside of my pex when I disconnected it from the pump.  I am hoping that I can just use treatment next year to stop this issue.  Thanks guys!
