Water pushing pass my circulator pump

I have a mahoning 300 running two zones and domestic hot water my problem is when my zone for upstairs is not calling for heat the pump from the OWB had enough force to push water pass my pump and flow check valve any help would be great.

 Then the primary pump is too big or their is a problem in the piping layout. Since both pumps can see each other, you must have it pipe primary /secondary.  What is your flow rate? And circ models? Post a few pics, will help much easier
