Newbie Here Needing Some Guidance
« on: February 03, 2014, 03:24:18 PM »

I'm so happy I've stumble upon this forum.  I discovered OWF in the fall and can't quit dreaming of one.  I'm going to get one next fall, but I want to do a lot of research before I commit and this site is great.
Here's what I need help with.  I've found 4 brands around me (I live just north of springfield mo and paid $400 for 100 gallons of propane recently-F that.) : central boiler, wood master, earthwood, and heatmaster.  I need help picking which offers the best bang for its buck.  Also, gasification chamber or not?

I'll be heating a 2 story 1800 sq ft house in the country.
Any guidance is greatly appreciated!

Hey, looks like you found several good options,  3 of which incarry, central is a good unit as well.

Feel free to contact me if you wanna discuss differences between the models and what options would work best for you.

We can report back here so others can share as well.  Being in missouri I dont think id be going for a gasser if I didnt have to.
