Well done Willie, necessity is the mother of all invention, I bet you never run out of hot water as long as you don't forget to fill the boiler do you?
Exactly Slim. When I first hooked this thing up I made it as "On Demand" and bypassed the hot water tank and had the power to it shut off. BUT, as you said "as long as you don't forget to put wood in the boiler"
Back when I built the original for my own house I was 15 years younger and still had some partying to do. There was a time or two that I slept in and woke up to a boiler only running at about 110 degrees, house was still warm but the shower water temp didn't go over well, and with a headache the flack I got was more than a man could handle. So, now my hot water tank is still turned on and the tank I made feeds into the cold water supply of the hot water tank....just in case I start to relive my childhood
