Green mt guy...Have you tried adjusting your air pulse settings? Factory default is a 50 sec air shot every 30 minutes. Try to tighten that up from 30 minutes down to every 15 minutes. Works great for me. Never goes out.

Yes try what boilerman says   

thats what mine is at actually its at every 12 minutes   make sure you run that rod that came with the stove the one with the little piece of plate on the end     use that along the charge tube and make sure its clear at least on one side so it gets- air

I figured that was going to happen eventually with the 1400     I heard the new 2400 has removable inside panels for cleaning purposes but the corners are not removable my dealer told me he got rid of his 3 yr old 2400 because someone made him the right offer and he was  eligible for a upgrade anyway so he got the new 2400.
