Garn seems to be a bad name here , maybe because it's indoor vs outdoor. Can anyone suggest a  more appropriate forum. Thanks

I can not imagine there being a lot of difference in how they work. I don't think you will be shunned just because you choose not to go out in the snow to fuel your furnace. Though I am not familiar with the brand so I may change my mind after I check them out. Give this group a chance. I have seen great info on here.

There is at least one other person here with a Garn. Almost everything in the house should be pretty much the same as any OWB so you should be able to find plenty of info on that part.

I don't think you are in the wrong forum here, you are just in the wrong season. Pretty quiet around here right now. If you want to speak with more garn owners check out hearth.com go into the boiler room. Good luck!
