Anyone ever use or encounter one of these?   Prices seem more than reasonable and their warrantee seems "above average"

There pressureized and often times that means annual inspections, more stat and local permits to have one, increased danger and so on.  For the finish your getting it doesn't look like all that much or a deal to me, there small stove is 4660, natures comfort, has a small stove that looks much better for 3,880.

i think (not 100 percent sure) if your boiler is pressurized but does not exceed 15 psi and does not use water over 210 degrees and is inspected at the time of installation no further inspections are needed.

Nope not in the states anyway, I looked into selling a pressurized boiler system one time, there was more required of me, and there was annual inspections at the state level as well, as well as some permits

It was more of a head ache than I wanted

Never heard of that brand...Pressurized OWB here.. For the record Ive never had nor do I have my OWB inspected..No such thing, No law, no permits..It only runs on 15 psi the exact same psi at my boiler that is in my basement..Its no different than having a indoor wood boiler!! Its a sealed pressurized system that runs on 15psi!!

top notch mackdx i have a indoor one.....they are very well built....and work great....I know owner personally he has 10 of his boilers in my town alone....and another 8-9 units in a town about 15 min from me.... these are units that i know of.... in my area. willy is right you do not need inspections after they are made, they are low pressure boilers not high pressure....high pressure you need the yearly inspections..... they have the pressurized testing done right at there factory right after they are built.....I know you do not need these boilers checked every year....

ps i have tim (owner personal cell number if you want to call him direct) he will answer any ?'s you have....very honest guy.... send me a message if you want his cell number to talk direct..... I can tell you he did not know me other than he new my father enlaw. (he bought the indoor 2500 boiler) when i found out my out door royall boiler was junk..... I did not have the full amount to pay him for boiler....he did not care he told me to pay the money i could and come get it.....so i could heat my house......and pay me the rest when you can.....how many companies would do that?....that is the honest truth.....he treats you like family when buying one of his boilers.... and backs them up as well.....he has ben in buisness with his dad for over 37 years.....

mattynh yes I knew what you ment...lol most modern owb as mattynh and myself said are starting to go to closed systems.....to help from rotting from inside out.....as we all know alot of the older boilers did.....because of the air getting into th system because of being open......also you can hook up auto fillers and so on makes them more reliable and worry free....

yes so is royall new boilers also....there are alot of them converting to closed systems...

royall not (crown royal) just looked on there web site they make them now both ways non and pressurezed set ups.....
