I'll be honest and tell you what I hate about my boiler. My buypass door. It isn't very good. Poors out smoke from the door everytime but when its demanding heat. Thats the only thing so far

When you open the door you have to give it 30 seconds or so for the smoke to clear.  I  have never had a problem.

Yea I have tried about everthing. The best I've found is open the door to were the stainless door is still shut. Go get a few logs while leaving it open then come back and open it the rest of the way. Mine still smokes out the main door fairly heavily though. I think its mostly do to the way the wind blows here and the way the boiler is facing. If the wind would blow straight into the door of the stove I wouldn't have a wind problem.

I just open the door up all the way.  Get a couple of logs and by the time I get back it is all set.  The wind could  have quite a bit to do with it.  Mine is under a roof with open sides so that may help a little as well.
