Does anyone have a suggestion for installing a wireless boiler temp indication in the house to monitor the water temp

What about a WIFI camera pointed to the gauge/stove so you could monitor the whole operation.  Looks like they start around $50 or so.

The wireless camera didn't work for me because it's on my backside of my garage (snowy picture). their is probably better ones and more money that would fix that.             but I have a wired camera. It works great(crystal clear picture) I don't have the WIFI one right now   it only goes directly to my TV I can click on it at any time to see what is doing.  It came with 100 ft of cable which I only knifed in about 6inches in the ground.  I can give my exact model if this sounds good for you this will be fourth year no problems at all.  Less than 100 bucks for everything.

When I buried my Thermopex I also buried 2-  3/4" pvc conduits. I ran a type j thermocouple wiire from a temperature probe in the oulet of the boiler and hooked it an Amtec DT-8350 digital thermometer 180' away in the house. I calibrated it to read the same temp as the boiler read out. It works great!

Hmmm yes that is a problem  I wonder if you could download off the internet somehow??
 We are out of the state right now for Thanksgiving I will send you a video of it on my TV so you can see the clarity of it when I get home and the model for you.

Forget the camera. Too complicated and poor resolution for far away. Also, need a monitor or a tv.
Most people use a wireless meat thermometer;

I have two of them there off by about 10 degrees but gives you a good idea what things are doing
It's not wireless but you just tee into the line in the basement and run your wire real easy install

Got mine off Ebay works great.

I use a dual probe meat thermometer, wireless.  Got it off ebay for like $50.  It monitors the supply and return right as it comes in the house.  Has alarms for over and under temp.  works great.

I ordered the Oregon Scientific AW131 Grill Right Wireless Talking BBQ/Oven Thermometer off of ebay this worked for a day then the the probe went bad I had put it in the top of the boiler where you add water to it, it appeared to be stainless steel braided wire going to the probe.  It must have shorted the probe because it went from 155 to 216 degree's the boiler never got that hot.

Here is my set up. It's accurate to 1F.

I mount the BBQ probe flat against the water tank heat exchanger in the house, not on the boiler.
(if you mount it outside; and if the unit looses connection, you would have to go outside to the boiler and re-establish connection every time).

Than I cover it with 1" coper pipe foam insulation. Wrap to secure with tape.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!
I don't know why, but the BBQ unit most often will not work properly if you use the battery that the unit comes with.
I had an issues that it kept loosing connection. When I researched it, I saw that if you change the battery, it works fine.
I did that and no issue at all.
I got this unit on Amazon for $39.95.
Oh, I also cut the wire in the unit to the speaker to stop the annoying beeping.
Works awesome.

As you can see it, no need to mount the probe on the boiler. It's accurate to 1F if you mount it like I did n the water tank exchanger.
