Hi all, I have a CB E-classic 1400 that's been operating flawlessly. It's still burning keeping my home warm on these chilly days and nights and providing my DHW. The other day I was servicing it and open the air chamber in the rear to get to the solenoids and elbows. I had a dickens of a time getting the door open thinking the 2 side sticky take was doing a really good job keeping out. But when I finally got the door open, I was met with a gooey mess with creosote build up on the door, all over the walls of the air chamber and coating the solenoids and wiring. I've always seen a bit of lite coating in the past but this is my first time seeing a thick coating of creosote to the point where it made opening the air chamber door rather difficult. Other thinking due to the warmer (relative term) temperatures, I believe it may be the idling too much allowing the creosote build and being blown in the air chamber. I haven't seen any creosote build up on the blower and it doesn't appear to be affecting it. Your thoughts and ideas? Other than that, I'm very happy with the E-classic 1400. Thanks, Roger
