Finally Heatmaster 5000 hooked up
« on: April 21, 2014, 05:24:31 PM »

Got my MF5000 hooked up, sheww that rehau pipe is stiffer than a wooden d****, and tougher than cement, I think you could drive over it with a ton truck and not dent the stuff. Forcast is going to cool off next week to lows in 30s to mid 50s so I will try to fire that mother up. Going to start with 175 degree with 10 degree dif. The stove is full of water with the treatment added. I have already circulated water through out the system hot water exchanger and stove exchanger. Have I forgotten anything? Please chime in. Also if you all wanted to know I have a 95 foot run to a 1800 square foot home.

What i.d. is your Rehau piping?  (my understanding is that they have a "1 inch" size that is around 7/8" true i.d. and another "1-inch" dual-pex variety that is like Logstor at 1.032" true i.d.).

Either one will be fine for your application... I'm just curious as to what you actually received for your Rehau purchase.

Good post Country boy, not meant just for Heatmaster as any good manufacturer wants the same thing, it is your warranty!

Awesome! I can't wait to get mine hooked up!  I just sold my Hardy last week so it's time to start working on my install.
